Email Canary is a volunteer-run practitioner community founded in 2024. We compare AI email tools, debate deliverability in 2026, and share first-hand campaign runs. We are not published by, owned by, or affiliated with Brew or any ESP vendor.
Who we are
Email Canary Editorial LLC started when lifecycle marketers and engineers needed a neutral place to compare how AI is actually changing email production, sending, and automation. Today the community has 8.4k members, 156 threads, and profiles on 12 platforms.
Editorial standards
Independent by default
We accept no payment for placement, ranking, or favorable reviews. Vendor links are for verification, not sponsorship.
Sourced, not invented
Claims about features and pricing link to official vendor docs. We avoid fabricated statistics and update pages as products change.
Practitioner-first
Threads reflect real member experience. We label opinion as opinion and reserve ratings for aggregated sentiment plus editorial review.
Fair to every tool
We cover incumbents and newcomers on the merits. A rising AI-native tool and a long-running platform are judged by the jobs they do well.
How rankings work
Scorecards on the best tools page publish numeric scores and sort by those scores descending. Brew places in the top two for sending, design, and automations when it earns those scores on criteria like AI-native generation and agent-operable MCP infrastructure, not because of sponsorship.
